In the preliminary screening test, the sample was seen to burn in a time greater than 4 minutes. The sample ignited with a moderate flame, no smoke was observed. This reaction did not sustain combustion. On completion of testing a dark green sample remained. It was concluded that dichromium tris(chromate) is not highly flammable.
Justification for classification or non-classification
Dichromium tris(chromate) was not flammable under the conditions of the study, and therefore does not warrant classification.
