Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Toxicity to soil macromacroorganism

Direct exposure to the terrestrial compartment is not intended. In addition, indirect expsoure to the soil compartment via sewage sludge can be excluded, since the substance is readily biodegradable, well water soluble and has a low logPow along with a low calculated Koc value (in fact it is not expected that Dexpanthenol will adsorb to sewage sludge). Due to the absence of any acute aquatic toxicity, effects on terrestrial organisms are very unlikely. Therefore, no tests on soil macroorganisms are provided.

Toxicity to terrestrial arthropods

Toxicity to terrestrial plants

Direct exposure to the terrestrial compartment is not intended. In addition, indirect expsoure to the soil compartment via sewage sludge can be excluded, since the substance is readily biodegradable, well water soluble and has a low logPow along with a low calculated Koc value (in fact it is not expected that Dexpanthenol will adsorb to sewage sludge). Due to the absence of any acute aquatic toxicity, effects on terrestrial organisms are very unlikely. Therefore, no tests on terrestrial plants are provided.

Toxicity to soil microorganisms

Direct exposure to the terrestrial compartment is not intended. In addition, indirect exposure to the soil compartment via sewage sludge can be excluded, since the substance is readily biodegradable, well water soluble and has a low logPow along with a low calculated Koc value (in fact it is not expected that Dexpanthenol will adsorb to sewage sludge).
