Description of key information

By comparing the test item visually with substances with viscosity in a known range (e.g. honey and syrup) it can be stated that the viscosity of D-Panthenol is higher than approximately 1 000 000 mPa s at room temperature (20°C). An experimental test showed a viscosity of 180 000 mPa s at 25°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
