the substance is used for professional pharmaceuticals purposes for the production of Mebeverin.
The technological process used is :, distillation, crystallization, drying and bolting.
Aspiration systems, and blowdown systems of smoke and vapors, closed lines of transfer .
Potential emission situation can be the following : accidental spilling during transport, gallery breach or loss from flange, collapse of the reactor.
Every accidental situation is treated in the evaluation risk plan, in the internal emergency plan and throughout the formation of workers
The Recordati plant in Campoverde - Italy has implemented a integrated management system of quality, environment, safety and health and it is submitted tto inspection of external competent organizations of vigilance as it is required by the current law on relevant risks of accidend for chamical plants. The plant is also certified ISO 14001 and has obtained the environmental integrated certification .
Every emission happen through controlled fireplaces and preceded by blowdown systems.
The substance is manipulated by autorized and trained workers
The workers are provided of SDS and they sufficienty trained and have informations on appropriate precautions, on working procedures and on emergency measures to be adopted in case of accident .
