Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Ingestion:
Substance is not expected to be harmful to intake the mouth. No specific First-Aid measures are required.
Skin contact:
Wash immediately with plenty of water and soap.
Eye contact:
Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
Inhalation:
Substance is not expected to be harmful if inhaled. In the fresh air market.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing Media:
Use water spray, alcohol foam, carbon dioxide or dry chemical to extinguish fires.
Protective Equipment:
Firefighters, and others exposed, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Special Hazards:
Dust explosion can yield when mixed with air in critical proportions and in the presence of an ignition source.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions:
Where exposure level is known, wear approved respirator suitable for level of exposure. Where exposure level is not
known, wear approved, positive pressure, self-contained respirator.
Methods For Cleaning Up:
Wipe on and put in containers for waste disposal. Rinse the area where water is spilled.
Environmental Precautions:
Take appropriate measures to avoid environmental contamination.
Handling and storage
HANDLING
Precautionary Measures: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains finely divided material. In the air floating dust can be ignited by static discharge, sparks or open flames. Equipment, including ventilation systems should be grounded. Provide adequate ventilation in the application area to remove dust. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Special Handling Statements: Provide a neat workplace so that dust can not accumulate. DUST EXPLOSION HAZARDS CLASS 1 Treatment of this material should be consistent with standards for Venting or deflagranten (eg NFPA-68). If handled with combustible or flammable substances, the risk of Explosions bigger.
STORAGE
no

Exposure controls / personal protection
Technical measures:
Technical control facilities are usually not necessary if proper hygienic procedures be followed.
Respiratory protection:
Use, where work by inhalation exposure may occur, approved respirator, recommended by laborhygienist after an assessment of the work. Respiratory protection is not necessary if no inhalation exposure may occur.
Eye protection:
Wear eye/face protection such as chemical splash proof goggles or face shield.
Skin Protection:
Avoid skin contact. Wear impermeable gloves.
Additional Advice:
Before eating, drinking, or smoking, wash face and hands thoroughly with soap and water.
Exposure Limit:
There are no fixed values.
Stability and reactivity
Stability: Stable
Conditions To Avoid: None known
Polymerization: Will not occur
Conditions To Avoid: None known
Materials To Avoid: Strong oxidizing agents.
Hazardous Decomposition
Products:
carbon monoxide
carbon dioxide
oxides of nitrogen
Disposal considerations
The Company promotes the recovery and reuse of materials, where this is permitted. If waste disposal as necessary, the company recommends that, organic materials, especially when they are classified as hazardous waste, destroyed by thermal treatment or incineration at EPA approved facilities. All local and national rules must be followed.
