EC number: 201-122-9 | CAS number: 78-51-3
Valid acute toxicity results are available on earthworms showing an 14d-LC50 of 544 mg/kg soil dw.
As no high adsorption or persistency is expected in soils, long term testing does not appear scientifically necessary.
Acute toxicity results are available on earthworm according to standard guideline (OECD 207) and GLP. As the registered substance doesn't have a strong adsorbtion coefficient and is readily biodegradable in water, it is not expected to be persistent in soil (neither its degradation products), and therefore long term testing according to Annex X does not appear scientifically necessary.
