Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

LL50 (96 h) > 100 mg/L (nominal) (Onchorhynchus mykiss, OECD 203)
No effects up to the limit of the water solubility of the substance.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

For short-term toxicity to fish, one limit test with rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) is available according to OECD guideline 203 and GLP (Wetton and Mullee, 2000). The fish were exposed to a water soluble fraction (WSF) of 100 mg/L nominal loading for 96 h under semi-static conditions. No effects were observed up to the limit of the water solubility of the test substance, thus the result is reported as LL50 > 100 mg/L (nominal). Chemical analysis of the 100 mg/L loading rate WAFs at 0, 24 and 96 h showed the measured test concentrations to be less than the limit of quantification of the analytical method (0.00613 mg/L).
