First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Eyes: Wash with plenty of water, seek medical advice.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with plenty of water, seek medical advice.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical advice. (In all cases contaminated clothing

should be removed).

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Combustion products may include carbon oxides and silicon

oxide smoke. Carbon dioxide, sand or foam are suitable

extinguishers.

Accidental release measures

Handling and storage

Handling: Use rubber gloves, safety glasses and rubber aprons.

Emergency showers should be available. For prolonged use,

use acid resistant protective clothing. Avoid inhalation of

vapours, use a gas mask with organic vapours filter. Shower

at end of work period or after handling substantial

quantities.

Storage: Store in 200 litre drums or polyethylene barrels.  Keep

store room well ventilated and dry.  Store away from food.
