Additional information

The flash point of the test substance was determined in a GLP compliant study (Givaudan, 2011(f)), performed in accordance with standardised guidelines EU Method A.9 and ISO 2719:2002 with a sufficient level of detail to assess the quality of the presented data. The study was performed to a good standard in line with accepted standardised guidelines and was assigned a reliability score of 1 in accordance with Klimisch (1997) and considered suitable to fulfil the data requirement. The flash point was determined to be 142.5°C at 101.325 kPa.

Under the conditions of the test, the test substance failed to meet the criteria for classification as a flammable liquid in accordance with Directive 67/548 EEC and regulation EC 1272/2008.
