No experimental studies investigating the adsorption/desorption potential of propylparaben (CAS 94 -13 -3) are available. Therefore, the log Koc was calculated using KOCWIN v2.00 (Loquay, 2013). Calculations with KOCWIN v2.00, resulted in log Koc values of 2.4573 (based on molecular connectivity index (MCI)) and 2.7079 (estimation based on log Kow), indicating that the substance has a low potential to adsorb to organic soil and sediment particles. Based on the results, it can be concluded that ethylparaben has a low potential for adsorption.
