Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

A study for acute aquatic toxicity was performed with various invertebrate species. This study indicates that superphosphate is practically nontoxic to aquatic invertebrates. No significant difference in toxicity was observed at the two temperatures tested. Results are reported as the average of the two values for each species. All LC50 (72 resp. 96h) values found were above 1000 ppm.
