The particle size distribution showed a bimodal distribution with one large peak and one small peak. The maximum of thee large fraction was observed at approximately 5 µm and the maximum of the small fraction at approximately 200 µm.

Conclusions:
The median particle size of the test item is 4.3 µm.
Executive summary:

The particle size of the test item was determined following guidelines OECD 110, ISO 13320 (2009) and CIPAC MT 187 under GLP by the laser difraction method. The particle size distribution showed a bimodal distribution with one large peak (~5 µm) and one small peak (~20 µm) . The median particle size (D50) of the test item was found to be 4.3 µm; the D10 was found to be 1.0 µm and the D90 was found to be 14.1 µm.

Description of key information

The median particle size (D50) of the test substance was determined to be 4.3 µm by laser diffraction.
