Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The Key study with the read across substance aluminium sulfate as one of the components of
aluminium potassium bis sulphate from Scott et al. gave an estimated NOEC-7d for Ceriodaphnia dubia
for aluminium potassium bis sulphate of 4450 mg/L total Al and 1.50-2.20 mg/L aqueous Al.
The supporting study from Lamb et al. also with read across substance aluminium sulfate gave
an estimated NOEC-55d for Tanytarsus dissimilis of 3 mg/L aluminium potassium bis sulphate.
Resulting from the 2 Read across long-term studies the calculated NOEC for freshwater invertebrates
is 1.5-3.0 mg /L as aqueous Al of aluminium potassium bis sulphate = 14.36 - 28.71 mg/L
aluminium potassium bis sulphate.
Resulting mean NOEC value: 21.54 mg/L aluminium potassium bis sulphate.
