The LC50 -96h freshwater fish: 110 mg/L Aluminium potassium bis(sulphate) selected from all Key- and supporting studies.

Therefore the substance is not classified for acute aquatic toxicity according CLP regulation EU 1272/2008

and EU regulation 286/2011 (2. ATP).

NOEC-7d freshwater fish: 5.58 mg/L aluminium potassium bis(sulphate). With this value the PNEC freshwater and PNEC marine water was calculated on basis of the NOEC.

Results of Key studies show that the EC50/LC50-values are above 100 mg/L. Therefore the substance is not classified for short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates according CLP regulation 1272/2008 and EU regulation 286/2011 (2. ATP).

Resulting from the 2 Read across long-term studies the NOEC for freshwater invertebrates is 21.54 mg /L aluminium potassium bis(sulphate).

Based on the Key study results the NOEC of freshwater algae is 133.3 mg/L.

Based on the Key -and supporting study of toxicity to microorganisms the calculated EC50 for aluminium potassium bis(sulphate) is 630 mg/L.
