Justification for classification or non-classification
The combustion characteristics of the test substance/cellulose mixture are diminished in comparison to the reference mixtures under the reduced oxygen atmosphere. The tested material is not classified as an Oxidising Solid according to the test method. The mechanism for the enhancement of the burning characteristics of the test substance with cellulose under normal atmospheric conditions remains unclear.
