Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Justification for CLT-acid as a read across substance for the short-term fish toxicity of 2B-acid:

The read across substance CLT-acid (CAS-no. 88 -53 -9) differs from the registered substance 2B-acid (CAS-no. 88 -51 -7) only by the exchanged positions of the methyl and the clorine substituents. All other structural elements and positions are identical.
