Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Based on the results obtained with a study conducted according to OECD 301B and GLP, the substance is considered to be readily biodegradable.

As the surfactant part of the substance is present as sodium carboxylates at environmental pH, the substance is expected to partition predominantly to the aquatic compartment and minimally adhere to organic matter.

For the environmental CSA, the Koc of the substance has been calculated based on logKow (-1). The calculated Koc value is very low, close to 0 (3.16 L/kg).

Due to its low vapour pressure, volatilisation is considered negligible. Therefore it can be concluded that the substance will distribute to the freshwater compartment. Distribution to other environmental compartments is considered to be negligible.
