It was visually observed that the test substance started to boil at a temperature of approximately 94°C. No flammable vapour/air mixture was produced at temperatures up to boiling of the test substance. From this, it was concluded that the test substance has no flash-point.

Conclusions:
The Pensky-Martens closed cup method was applied for the determination of the flash-point of an aqueous solution of the substance, according to UN, EC, ISO and ASTM guidelines and according to GLP principles. As no flash-point was observed up to boiling of the test substance, it can be concluded that aqueous solutions of the substance have no flash-point.
