Justification for classification or non-classification

The findings in the available studies on skin irritation do not warrant classification according to the EU criteria.

Depending on the EU criteria applied (Directive or Regulation) the reported slight to moderate redening of the conjunctivae does not warrant or warrant classification (Category 2). The reason for this difference dates from the changed classification criteria which are applied to the same mean scores calculated following grading at 24, 48 and 72 hours after instillation of the test material.
