Additional information

In accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 Annex VIII 9.2.2.1 column 2 the testing for hydrolysis is not required for substances that are readily biodegradable and highly insoluble in water. Additionally, as Isooctadecanoic acid does not have a functional group that is susceptible to hydrolysis, it is expected not to hydrolyse under environmental conditions. Photodegradation of Isooctadecanoic acid in air is not a relevant degradation pathway as the vapour pressure under ambient conditions is negligible.
