Any other information on results incl. tables

With the pure product no self-ignition until 440 °C. Melting of the substance was observed from 110 - 140 °C.

Melting of the substance was observed between 110 °C and 140 °C in mixture with Kieselgur 1:1. Up to a temperature of 220 °C a weak spontaneous heating occurred. Up to 290 °C a multi-stage self-ignition could be detected until a maximum temperature > 550 °C.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Not classified as self-igniting substance.
Executive summary:

The study was performed according to VDI 2263, Blatt 1 and standard DIN EN 13821. No direct OECD guideline followed.

The pure product began to melt at 110 °C in the wire basket before insertion of self-ignition. With the pure product no self-ignition until 440 °C.

Mixture with Kieselgur (1:1) in Grewer-oven on air from a temperature of 220 °C a slight exothermic reaction could be observed.

Based on the results a classification as "self-igniting substance" according to classification guideline is not necessary.
