Description of key information

Dihydrogen hexafluorotitanate is an aqueous solution and its density depends on the actual concentration. Experimental confirmation of the density is scientifically not justified (in accordance with REACH Annex XI, section 1). For such an aqueous solution, the density is of low practical relevance for the chemical safety assessment. Nevertheless, a density of 1.5 g/mL is selected as the key value based on producer’s information for a typical ca. 50% solution.
