Description of key information

Hydrolysis product ethanol: Ceriodaphnia dubia 9d-NOEC = 9.6 mg/L (Cowgill & Milaazzo, 1991; OECD, 2005)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water invertebrates

Fresh water invertebrates
Effect concentration:
9.6 mg/L

Additional information

There are no data available regarding chronic effects of the parent compound to aquatic invertebrates. The hydrolysis product ethanol was tested in the Three-Brood test with Ceriodaphnia dubia and Daphnia magna. The resulting NOEC (9 -10 d) was >= 9.6 mg/L (Cowgill & Milazzo, 1991; OECD, 2005).
