PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

Due to the results from the degradation studies, the substance is regarded as readily biodegradable and therefore not persistent (not P) and not very persistent (not vP).

The substance is regarded as not P and therefore exposure to the aquatic compartment is unlikely. Furthermore, according to the results of several QSAR calculations and the data on the molecular size, the BCF of the compound is clearly below 2000 L/kg and passing of biological membranes is limited. In conclusion, the substance is not bioaccumulative (not B) and not very bioaccumulative (not vB).

Due to the results of the aquatic toxicity studies and the relevant mammalian toxicity studies, the substance is not toxic (not T).
