First-aid measures

General advice: Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately

After inhalation: Remove the casualty into fresh air and keep him calm.

In the event of symptoms take medical treatment.

After contact with skin: In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with plenty of water.

Take for medical treatment

After contact with eyes: In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical advice.

After ingestion: Rinse out mouth and give plenty of water to drink.

Do not induce vomiting.

Notes to physician

Symptoms: The following symptoms may occur:

- gastrointestinal complaints

Treatment: When swallowed, stomach should be pumped out under addition of Dimeticon (anti-foam agent).

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder, water spray.

Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons: Full water jet

Special hazards from the substance itself, its combustion products or from its vapours: In the event of fire the following can be released:

- Nitrogen oxides (NOx)

- carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide

Special protective equipmentfor firefighters: Do not inhale explosion and/or combustion gases

Use self-contained breathing apparatus and wear protective suit.

Further information: Fire residues and contaminated firefighting water must be disposed of in accordance with the local regulations.

Cool endangered containers with water spray jet.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: High risk of slipping due to leakage/spillage of product.

Use personal protective equipment.

Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter drains or waterways.

Do not discharge into the subsoil/soil.

Methods for cleaning up/taking up: Take up with absorbent material (eg sand, kieselguhr, universal binder)

Dispose of absorbed material in accordance with the regulations.

Advice on safe handling: when working with the product vapors/aerosols may be evolved; therefore a local exhaust and ventilation are recommended.
