Additional information

The selected and recalculated acute endpoint values for EDTA-CuNa2 were 555, 109.2 and 662.6 mg/L for fish, daphnids and algae

respectively. Chronic endpoints were >= 37.2, 29.5 and 43.7 mg/L for fish, daphnids and algae respectively.

Both from acute as well as chronic data, daphnids show the most sensitive species. Meaningful results with algae tests were obtained by studies avoiding limitation of essential nutrients.

For microorganisms, from an active sludge respiration test it was concluded that the highest dose tested did not cause significant effects, a NOEC was detemined >= 654 mg/L EDTA-CuNa2.
