Description of key information

The endpoint is waived: The solid substance does not melt under the decomposition temperature of 219°C, so the vapour pressure will be low.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

Based on its multiple carboxylic acid salt functionality the pure substance will exhibit negligible vapour pressure. Because of its high polarity the substance always contains a few % of water so the vapour pressure exhibited by this substance is expected to be that of the adherent water.

The low vapour pressure is supported by EPI Suite: the vapour pressure of EDTA-CuNa2 is calculated to be 4.10E-17Pa at 25°C.
