25 mg/L

Additional information

The effect of vinylcaprolactam was tested according to EEC Directive 79/831/EEC, Annex V, Part C in a 72-h growth inhibition test with Desmodesmus subspicatus. The resulting 72-h ErC50 of greater than 100 mg/L indicates with high probability that the substance is acutely not harmful to aquatic organisms. The NOEC was determined to be 25 mg/L [BASF AG, 1995; Report No. 95/0125/60/1].
