Additional information

The O.E.C.D. 203, GLP, Klimisch 1 acute rainbow trout study conducted in 2000 is considerd most appropriate for determmination of the acute fish PNEC. The LC50 for this study was 0.84 mg/L. Following E.C.H.A. guidance (RIP 3.2, Chapter R.10) a 1000-fold Accessment Factor is applied to the LC50 resulting in a PNEC of 0.840 ug/L for freshwater fish. An additional Assessment Factor of 10 is applied to the freshwater fish LC50 value to derive the acute marine fish PNEC of 0.084 ug/L.
