Description of key information

The test substance is concluded not to be readily biodegradable, although significant (57%) biodegradation was observed in an OECD 301F Manometric respirometry test extended to 56 days. Significant biodegradation was also observed in a OECD 302B test (BASF AG, 2001) (ultimate biodegradability of 90-100%) concluding that the substance is inherently biodegradable.

Further biotic degradation testing is not proposed as the chemical safety assessment indicates no need to investigate further the degradation of the substance.
