Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusions:
The boiling point was determined to be 118.3 °C at 1013 hPa taken from the vapour pressure curve.

Description of key information

The boiling point of the test substance under ambient conditions was determined to be 118 °C in two non-GLP studies.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
118 °C

Additional information

In two reliable non-GLP studies, the boiling point was determined to be 117.6 °C at 1000 hPa (flow gadget with rotary coil; BASF AG, 1985) and 118.3 °C at 1013 hPa (taken from the vapour pressure curve; BASF AG, 1975). As both values are in a close range, the final boiling point is calculated as the mean value.
