Additional information

The flammability of perfluoromethyl vinyl ether was essessed in a Klimish-2 reliability study which state that the substance has a lower flammability limit of 7% vol. and a upper flammability limit of 73% vol.

A secondary source as the Company SDS state that flammability limits of the substance are LFL=7.5% vol. and UFL 50% vol.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Perfluoromethyl vinyl ether (PMVE) is classified as FLAMMABLE, CATEGORY 1 under Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006
