In accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Column 2 of Annex IX, section 9.2.1.3, a simulation test on biodegradation in soil is needed if the chemical safety assessment indicates the need to investigate further the degradation of the substance and its degradation product. The risk for terrestrial organisms based on available data is acceptable and thus, the available data on degradation is sufficient for the risk assessment.
