Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

A test is waived in a weight-of-evidence approach including the high adsorptivity to particles and the fact, that 0% biodegradation was found in 2 ready biodegradation tests.
No degradation is soil was also expected by SIDS (2000): "When the substance is released to air, significant amount of the substance would be firstly photodegraded, and then any undegraded substance would be deposited to soil where the degradation rate would be very slow. In contrast, when the substance is released to soil directly, it would remain in soil since its solubility is low, it is essentially non-volatile, and the degradtion rate in soil would be low either."
