Description of key information

The substance is with high probability not chronically harmful to aquatic invertebrates. No long-term effects occurred for Daphnia magna (OECD 211) in the range of water solubility.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The long-term toxicity on aquatic invertebrates was investigated with Daphnia magna, in a GLP guideline study according to OECD 211 [2017].  Since the test item is poorly soluble, saturated solutions were prepared with a solid-liquid separation systems under consideration of Guidance document on aquatic toxicity testing of difficult items and mixtures, OECD series on testing and assessment number 23, December 14, 2000. Loading rates up to 10 mg/L were used.

No effects on reproduction, mortality and growth were observed during the 21 days test duration.
