Description of key information

The test substance is not considered bioaccumulative according to PBT-criteria.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Calculated BCF values of 90 - 190 from a japanese MITI (1992) study equivalent to OECD Guideline 305 C using carp point to the fact that the test compound is not bioaccumulative according to PBT-criteria. Those results are supported by a second MITI study revealing a BCF <= 140.

Furthermore, the PBT working group decided in 2008 that the test substance has a low to moderate bioaccumulation potential and does not meet the B criterion (ECB – SUMMARY FACT SHEET PBT WORKING GROUP – PBT LIST NO. 73).
