Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

In a guideline study conducted according to OECD 305 carp were exposed to the substance in a flow-through system. Two substance concentrations were tested (0.1 mg/L and 0.01 mg/L). The solubility of the test substance was enhanced by addition of a solubiliser.

Based on whole body weight of fish a BCF of 24 -36 L/kg was determined at a substance concentration of 0.1 mg/L, whereas at 0.01 mg substance/L a BCF of 52 -89 was detected (Mitsubishi Kasei Inst., 1989).

Furthermore, several QSAR calculations revealed similar values supporting the negligible bioaccumulative potential of the parent compound.

In conclusion, the parent compound is not regarded as bioaccumulative.

Additionally, the identified metabolites were assessed with Catalogic v5.14.1.5, BCF baseline model v.04.11. None of the metabolites revealed BCF values critical for the PBT/vPvB assessment.
