Executive summary:

The OECD harmonised ring method was used for the determination of the surface tension of PURASOLV®EHL (2-ethylhexyl-S-lactate). The surface tension of a test solution at 90 % of the test substance solubility in water and at 20 °C was 36.6 mN/m. According to this result, the test substance is considered to be surface active.
