Amine synergist hydrolyses rapidly under environmental conditions, with a half-life of 11 h at pH 7 and 25°C. The hydrolysis products TPG and DEA-AA have low log Kow values (-0.5 and -2.44; Parent, 2007). This suggests that neither amine synergist as such nor its degradation products will bioaccumulate in the aquatic environment.
