Description of key information

The dissociation constant pKa is between 1.73 and 2.15 at 20 °C (by estimation).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

There is no experimental data available for dissociation constant. The value is estimated by using interpolation method, based on the experimental results for ''Sulfuric acid, mono-C12 -14 -alkyl (even numbered) esters, sodium salts'' and ''Sulfuric acid, mono-C12 -18 -alkyl (even numbered) esters, sodium salts'' due to the structural similarity. The results for the read-across substances were obtained employing conductometric method, in accordance with the OECD Guideline 112.
