Description of key information

Additional information

Phototransformation half-lives in air were calculated using the AOPWIN model v1.92. For the reaction of Cyclacet vapour with photochemically generated hydroxyl radicals in the atmosphere the half-life for a 12 -hour day (hydroxyl radical concentration of 1.5E6 molecule/cm3) is estimated to be 1.907 hours. For reaction with ozone the model estimated a half-life of 1.375 hours.

Concerning the (hydrolytic) stability of Cyclacet, no information on the substance itself is available. The information available is based on read-across from the structural analogue Cyclobutanate.

The half-life (hydrolysis) of Cyclacet (based on read-across of the results for Cyclobutanate) was estimated to be > 1 year at pH 4 and 7 and 13 days at pH 9 at 25°C.
