8 mg/L

Additional information

For the invertebrate Daphnia magna an acute toxicity test (OECD TG 202, GLP) yielded a 48 h-EC50 of 8 mg/L, related to measured concentrations of dicyclohexylamine (EA Japan, 1999b). pH adjustment was not carried out during the test; the pH ranged from 8.2 to 9.0 at test start and 8.2 – 8.6 at test end across all concentrations.

A 48 h-EC50 of 70 mg/L (nominal) was obtained using a standard procedure in accordance with national standard methods with acceptable restrictions with Daphnia magna described by the Danish EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) equivalent to OECD TG 202 (Pedersen, F. 1999). The pH ranged across all test concentrations from 8.0 – 8.1.
