Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Study design

Batch equilibrium or other method

Computational methods:
The estimation was performed based on a water solubility of below 0.06 mg/I using regression equations (Lyman, Reehl, Rosenblatt: Handbook of Chemical Property Estimation Methods, 1990) and relating the Koc with the water solubility.
Furthermore, the molecular weight of test item, 626.5 g/mol was used.
Regression I: log Koc = -0.55 log S + 3.64 (S in mg/I)
Regression II: log Koc = -0.54 log S + 0.44 (S in mole fraction)
Regression Ill: log Koc = -0.557 log S + 4.277 (S in μmoles/I)

Additionally, an estimation was performed based on the octanol/water partition coefficient of log Pow= 3.3 using a regression equation (source as above)
relating the Koc with Pow.
Regression IV: log Koc = 0.544 · log Pow + 1.377

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Based on a log Pow of 3.3, Koc is1487 indicating that test item is little mobile in soils.
Based on a water solubility of less than 0.06 mg/l, Koc is 20512 or higher, thus test item is classified as immobile in soils.
