Additional information

Two studies were conducted on the registered substance to determine the surface tension of the substance, with an additional study conducted on the read-across substance BPA 2PO. All studies were conducted according to the EU Testing Method A. 5., and used the plate method. The key study on BPA 3PO gave a surface tension of 50.4 mN/m, the supporting study on the BPA 5PO gave a surface tension of 47.2 mN/m, and the read-across study on the BPA 2PO gave a surface tension of 49.9 mN/m. All the results are <60 mN/m which indicates that the substance is not likely to be surface active.
