The substance proved to be inherently biodegradable in a test based on OECD 302C. A ready biodegradability test according to OECD 301F did show that the substance cannot be regarded as readily biodegradable. Due to the inherent biodegradability the substance is expected to be non-persistent in the aquatic and terrestrial environment. Further testing on biodegradation in water, sediment and soil is not considered necessary.
