The 1,4 -butynediol 48 hour EC50 for aquatic invertebrates (Daphnia magna) provided in an EPA-660/3 75-009 guideline study is 26.8 mg/L (BASF AG 1987). This value is supportedby the results of an OECD 201 guideline-equivalent study which reports a 48 hour EC50 of 30.2 mg/L (Tisler 2003).
