Additional information

Concerning environmental fate and pathways, a ready biodegradability study is available. This study shows that ethyllinalool is readily biodegradable. In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annexes VIII and IX, further testing for biodegradation is not required. A hydrolysis test and further degradation tests are not required for ethyllinalool based on its ready biodegradability. As the substance has a low potential for bioaccumulation, bioaccumulation testing is also not required. Adsorption / desorption testing is not required as the substance is expected to have a low potential for adsorption and the substance is readily biodegradable and therefore degrades rapidly in the environment.
