Description of key information

The weighted average estimated KOH and t1/2 of C12-16 ADBAC using AopWin v1.92 program (EPIWEB v 4.1) was found to be 4.22 x 10-11 cm3/molecule-sec and 0.25 days respectively.

Additional information

The hydroxyl radical constant (KOH) and reaction half-life (t1/2) for C12 -16 ADBAC was estimated using the AopWin v1.92 program of EPIWEB v 4.1. The KOH and t1/2values were calculated on a weighted-average basis using the mole fractions of the individual components. The calculated t1/2is based on a 12-hour daylight hydroxyl radical concentration of 1.5 x 106molecules (radicals) /cm3and hydroxyl rate constant of 5.46 x 10-11cm3/molecule-sec. The weighted average estimated KOH and t1/2of the test substance was found to be 4.22 x 10-11cm3/molecule-sec and 0.25 days respectively (US EPA, 2012).
