Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the autoignition of the test substance according to EU Method A.16, in compliance with GLP. Height cm3 (3.8 g) of the test substance was placed in an oven at 24°C; the temperature time curve relating to conditions in the centre of the sample was recorded while the temperature of the oven was increased to 400°C at a rate of 0.5°C/min. The temperature of the oven at which the sample temperature reaches 400°C by self-heating is called the autoignition
temperature for the purpose of this test. Under the study conditions, no autoignition temperature was observed for the test substance up to the maximum test temperature of 403°C (Moller, 2007).
