Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Short-term EC50 or LC50 for terrestrial plants:
560 mg/kg soil dw
Long-term EC10, LC10 or NOEC for terrestrial plants:
32 mg/kg soil dw

Additional information

Diisopropylamine toxicity to plants has been investigated under different conditions, main difference between the procedures being the soil type: loam, sand and nutrient solution. Different species were also tested. In the frame of this experiment the lowest toxicity figures obtained are an EC50 -14 d of 560 mg/kg soil dw (Lactuca sativa) and a NOEC-14 days of 32 mg/kg soil (Lycopersicon esculentum).
